Dion Waiters, Fab Melo and Kris Joseph will all represent the Syracuse Orange at the 2012 NFL Draft Combine in Chicago on June 7-8, according to a list released by the NBA.
Waiters and Melo are expected to be first-round draft choices, while Joseph is expected to fight for a spot in the second round.
All were productive during the past season as Syracuse reached the Elite Eight before falling to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Joseph, a senior, led the team with 13.4 points per game and added 4.7 rebounds. Waiters came off the bench to finish second in scoring, at 12.6 points per game in just 24.1 minutes. Melo was named the Big East Defensive Player of the Year after swatting away 2.9 shots per contest.
Other players who played college ball in the state of New York expected to attend the combine include Moe Harkless of St. John's (likely a mid-first round pick) and Scott Machado of Iona (projected as a second-rounder).
