Laurie Fine, the wife of fired former Syracuse men's basketball assistant coach Bernie Fine, announced through her laywer Lawrence Fisher that she will be holding an 11 a.m. press conference at the Belhurst Castle in Geneva on Wednesday (via 9WSYR).
Laurie Fine's statement indicated that she will discuss Bobby Davis during the press conference and also said that she will make a "major announcement." Seven months ago, Davis and his step-brother Mike Lang had accused Bernie Fine of sexual abuse when they were ball boys for the Syracuse University men's basketball team.
The defamation case which Davis and Lang brought against current Syracuse men's basketball head coach Jim Boeheim was recently thrown out by a judge. Davis and Lang plan to file an appeal of the case.
