Nerlens Noel Selects Kentucky Over Syracuse

Nerlens Noel, one of the most coveted high school basketball recruits in the country, announced his decision as to where he will play college ball. After winnowing the list of schools down to three, Noel revealed on a prime time ESPNU special that he will play for the University of Kentucky.

Syracuse was one of the final three options for Noel. No stranger to bringing talented players into the program, this was one of the most anticipated recruiting decisions in years for Syracuse fans.

Noel revealed his decision with an unusual twist: he shaved the "UK" into his head.

Standing 6'10" and weighing 210 lbs, the lanky center is often compared to Anthony Davis, the center Noel will replace, who just led the Wildcats to a national championship this month.
