Rutgers Vs. Marquette Final Score: Scarlet Knights No Match In 82-65 Loss

Rutgers lost their sixth straight game on Wednesday night, falling to the No. 10 Marquette Golden Eagles on the road by a final score of 82-65.

The Knights were powerless to stop Eagles forward Jae Crowder, who scored 27 points. He now has 56 points in his last two games. Darius Johnson-Odom scored 21 points for the Eagles in the win.

Rutgers had it within two points early in the first half, but Marquette pulled away for an 11-point advantage at the end of the first half. It was a tough loss for the Scarlet Knights after holding their own in a loss to Syracuse on Sunday.

Jerome Seagers led Rutgers with 14 points. Gilvydas Biruta had 12 points, four rebounds, one assist and two steals.

Rutgers faces Seton Hall on Saturday, before a two-game home stand to close out their regular season.
