Syracuse Vs. UConn Halftime Score: No. 2 Orange Lead Huskies, 43-34

Senior forward Kris Joseph has tallied a team-best 10 points to help the No. 2-ranked Syracuse Orange earn a 43-34 halftime lead over the Connecticut Huskies in a Big East Conference men's basketball game at the Carrier Dome. The Orange (24-1, 11-1 Big East) are searching for their fifth consecutive victory and extend their home-winning streak to 20 games.

Sophomore center Fab Melo has tallied a game-best eight points and two blocks, while sophomore forward C.J. Fair has tallied four points and collected six rebounds for SU, which trailed 10-5 in the early going but used a 15-3 run to take a 25-15 lead with 8:25 to go in the first half.

Syracuse's senior guard Scoop Jardine has scored six points and dished out three assists.

For UConn, freshman guard Ryan Boatright has tallied a game-best 11 points including two 3-pointers in a late 8-2 run that helped the Huskies trim the SU lead to 32-29 with less than four minutes remaining.

The Huskies trailed 35-32 with 2:12 to play, but a late 8-2 run, which featured a Joseph jumper, steal and assist, helped Syracuse take a nine point lead into the locker room.
