Notre Dame Vs. Syracuse Halftime Score: Irish Lead No. 1 Orange, 35-23

Behind a team-best eight points from sophomore guard Alex Dragicevich and six 3-pointers, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have earned a 35-23 halftime lead over the No. 1-ranked Syracuse Orange in a Big East Conference men's basketball game at the Joyce Center in South Bend, IN. The Irish (11-8, 3-3 Big East) led by as much as 18 points, which is the Orange's largest deficit of the season.

Junior forward James Southerland has netted a game-best eight points off the bench for Syracuse (20-0, 7-0 Big East), while sophomore guard Dion Waiters tallied seven, including six straight near the end of the half.

Since 1968, the Irish have knocked off six a No. 1 teams at the Joyce Center.
