Holy cow. If you like dramatics then the 2011 NCAA Tournament is what you should be watching Thursday. For the third time in just four games, a late-second shot has helped a team advance to the third round.
This time, Temple junior guard Juan Fernandez sank a 2-point jumper with 0.4 seconds remaining to propel the No. 7-seeded Owls past No. 10 Penn State, 66-64. Frenandez, who finished with a team-best 23 points, answered a 3-ball from the Nitty Lions' Taylor Battle, who tied the game at 64-64 with about 16 second to go.
