The Syracuse Orange men's basketball team remains atop the college basketball rankings for the third straight week.
The Orange led the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches Poll with 30 out of 31 first-place votes. The other top vote went to Ohio State, which finished second in the poll. Kentucky, Louisville and Duke rounded out the top five.
Syracuse led six Big East teams in the top 25: Louisville, Connecticut, Georgetown, Marquette and Pittsburgh were also ranked. Pittsburgh fell from No. 13 to No. 22 after a stunning 59-54 home loss to Wagner on Friday night.
Syracuse won two straight home games last week by identical scores, handing Bucknell and Tulane matching 80-61 defeats. Kris Joseph led the Orange with 17 points against Bucknell and Dion Waiters took over the lead scorer's role against Tulane with 15 points.
