It has been a week since the No. 4-ranked Syracuse Orange beat No. 14 Notre Dame, 70-58.
Surprisingly, Syracuse won that game going away.
Without a question, entering today’s game against Seton Hall, Syracuse’s confidence is at a season high. It will be interesting to see if the Orange miss a beat or two — I am not expecting for that to happen.
What I am expecting is to seeing how Syracuse comes out against a opponent that isn’t as good.
Yes, the Big East Conference has a lot of quality teams and no contest should be overlooked. However, there are some Big East squads that are not good — Rutgers Scarlet Knights, South Florida Bulls and DePaul Blue Devils. Seton Hall is one of those no-so-good teams.
Head coach Jim Boeheim will talk the Big-East talk and say that any win in the conference is a quality win but I am sure he’s looking for a nice easy game today.
