- There was a pretty darn good college football game in a pretty well-known major league baseball stadium Thursday as Syracuse edged Kansas State, 36-34, in the inaugural Pinstripe Bowl. We have all the angles covered, the excessive celebration penalty that hurt Kansas State's chance to tie with 1:13 to play, thoughts on George Steinbrenner's love for football and a look at how much this means to the Syracuse program. Oh, and stop at Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician if that isn't enough. I'm sure they will be celebrating excessively all day, and maybe into the night since it is New Year's Eve. ↵
- The New York Knicks are not celebrating this morning, after losing to the Orlando Magic Thursday night. The story of this game was simply too much Dwight Howard for the Knicks to handle. ↵
- Final thought: Be safe out there this evening, folks. ↵
