Syracuse, Kansas State Practice At Giants' Indoor Facility

Syracuse and Kansas State were forced to move their practices to the New York Giants indoor practice facility, the Timex Performance Center, due to the heavy snow that has blanketed New York and surrounding areas.

Today’s New Era Pinstripe Bowl Week kickoff event at the Times Square Visitor Center has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

The Empire State Building will split its world-famous tower lights for Syracuse University and Kansas State University on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 to celebrate the first-ever New Era Pinstripe Bowl taking place on Thursday, Dec. 30 at Yankee Stadium. The North and South sides of the building will be lit Syracuse University orange and white, while the West and East sides will be lit purple and white for Kansas State University.

The inaugural New Era Pinstripe Bowl will take place on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at Yankee Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3:22 p.m. The game will feature the Syracuse Orange from the Big East Conference vs. the Kansas State Wildcats from the Big 12 Conference. It will be the second-ever college football game at the current Yankee Stadium and the first bowl game in New York City in nearly 50 years.
