Big East Bracketology: Syracuse Orange Earn Another No. 1 Seed

The Syracuse Orange have gone unbeaten during non-conference play and they've been rewarded by a expert bracketologyist with another No. 1 seed.

On Monday, SI.com's Andy Glockner slotted the Syracuse Orange (12-0) as the No. 1 seed in the West Region of the 68-team NCAA Tournament. The Orange are predicted to play one of the four first-round winners in Washington, D.C.

Last week, Bracketology101 had SU earning the top seed in the West.

Glackner also has the Duke Blue Devils, Kansas Jayhawks and Ohio St. Buckeyes earning No. 1 seeds.

The Connecticut Huskies, Georgetown Hoyas and Pittsburgh Panthers each earned No. 2 slots for the Big East Conference.

On Tuesday, FoxSports.com's Jeff Goodman updated his weekly college basketball power rankings and had SU at No. 6, an improvement of one spot over last week's rankings.

UConn is No. 4 on the list. Pittsburgh and Georgetown are No. 7 and 8, respectively. The Villanova Wildcats are ranked No. 10.
