Boston College running back Andrew Williams continues to pound the Orange defensive line and has helped the Golden Eagles take a 13-6 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
Williams had seven carries and totaled 44 rushing yards during BC’s lone possession of the quarter, which ended with a one-yard TD run by Williams. The freshman tailback has 124 yards on 26 carries.
Syracuse began the second half with a 12-play, 80-yard touchdown drive and took a 7-6 advantage.
Orange running back Antown Bailey rushed seven times for 33 yards and capped the march with a five-yard scamper into the end zone.
SU’s second possession of the quarter ended after eight play and just 22 yards.
BC will begin the quarter facing a second and two from 42-yard line.
