The Syracuse Orange will face Michigan in the Final Four on Saturday and most experts believe their run will come to an end at the hands of the Wolverines.
It is the first Final Four appearance for the Orange since their 2003 championship and their fifth overall. Syracuse has been dominant in the tournament thus far, stifling teams with their 2-3 defense and winning each of their four games by an average of 20 points. Only Cal managed to play a close game against the Orange, losing by six in the round of 32.
Michigan is back in the Final Four for the first time since the Fab Five in 1993. They have easily won three of their four games, but needed a late run and long 3-pointer from their star Trey Burke to topple Kansas in the Sweet 16.
The Orange are two-point underdogs, and experts seem to agree that Michigan will win the game. All four CBS Sports experts pick the Wolverines to advance to the championship. The scores prediction engine at OddsShark projects an 80-79 Michigan win. Even predictions expert Nate Silver of The New York Times blog Five Thirty Eight, gives the Wolverines a 51.9-percent chance of knocking off the Orange.
Syracuse and Michigan will play in the second of the two Final Four games with tip off scheduled for approximately 8:50 p.m. ET on Saturday.
