Syracuse vs. Colgate: Preview, game time, TV schedule

Syracuse puts its 24-game home winning streak on the line Sunday against Colgate.

The No. 6-ranked Syracuse Orange put their 24-game home winning streak on the line Sunday when the Colgate Red Raiders visit the Carrier Dome. The Orange (3-0) and Red Raiders (3-3) resume a Central New York rivalry that has featured 164 meetings.

Overall, Syracuse has collected 45 straight wins over Colgate, a Patriot League member located less than an hour away.

The Orange are coming off a 73-53 victory over the Princeton Tigers. SU was paced by senior forward James Southerland's career-high 22 points, while sophomore guard Michael Carter-Williams added 10 points, nine assists, six rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, the Red Raiders have already played six games this season, their latest being a 85-76 victory over St. Francis. Junior Pat Moore led all scores with a 25-point performance that helped Colgate overcome a 37-36 halftime deficit.

The game takes place at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, and will be available locally on Time Warner/SNY.

Next, the Orange will play a road match with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Friday, at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
