The Syracuse Orange men's basketball program maybe close to adding another verbal commitment to its recruiting portfolio. According to ESPN's Adam Finkelstein and the New York Post's Zach Braziller, Chris McCullough, the No. 10th-ranked recruit in the Class of 2014 according to Rivals, has listed SU as his No. 1 school.
McCullough (6'10, 220 pounds) also has offers from the St. John's Red Storm, Louisville Cardinals and Pittsburgh Panthers. However, its seems that McCullough has a good idea of where he wants to go and that's SU.
If the Bronx, NY native chooses Syracuse it will be the programs first verbal commitment for the Class of 2014. It could, however, lead to another commitment from another top 15 prospect, forward Isaiah Whitehead (6'4, 170 pounds), as both have talked about playing together in college.
Syracuse's recruiting class for '13 is almost full as it has already received verbal commitments from: Five-star point guard Tyler Ennis, three-star small forward B.J. Johnson and three-star power forward Chinonso Obokoh.
