The St. John's Red Storm's run stopped in the Sweet 16, as they fell to Duke 74-47 on Saturday night, putting an end to their impressive season.
Duke was led by four starters in double figures, including 18 points from Shay Selby and 15 more from Tricia Liston.
The Red Storm struggled offensively throughout the evening, as only Da'Shena Stevens (19 points) was able to reach double figures. She made eight of her 14 field goal attempts, but as a team St. John's was held to just 34.5 percent shooting.
St. John's finishes the season with a 24-10 mark, including a 13-3 run in Big East play.
Duke advances to the Elite 8, where it will play the winner of the Stanford and South Carolina contest in the Fresno regional final.
