The 2012 Women's NCAA Tournament has entered the Sweet 16 stage of the bracket, with half of the remaining teams in action on Saturday. All four number one seeds remain, including Brittney Griner and the Baylor Bears. Griner and the Bears are scheduled to play the fourth seed in their region, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Saturday on ESPN. Tip is scheduled for 2 PM EST.
Stanford is the second one seed scheduled to play on Saturday; they play the fifth seed in their region, the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Four games will be played on Saturday, with one already underway (Kansas vs. Tennessee). They are as follows:
Des Moines Region:
No. 11 Kansas vs. No. 2 Tennessee - 12:04 p.m. ET, ESPN
No. 4 Georgia Tech vs. No. 1 Baylor - 2:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
Fresno Region:
No. 3 St. John's vs. No. 2 Duke - 9:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
No. 5 South Carolina vs. No. 1 Stanford - 11:32 p.m. ET, ESPN2
