St. John's Vs. Pittsburgh: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

In what has been a miserable season for both teams, a win is up for grabs tonight at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh.

St. John's (13-16, 6-10) is currently playing very well. After suffering four straight defeats, the Red Storm have fought back and won their last three contests, beating UCLA, DePaul and Notre Dame. After tonight, the only game remaining in the regular season is a road date with Rutgers.

The Panthers (15-14, 4-12) are a disaster at the moment. Jamie Dixon's team has dropped five straight, the most recent of those losses coming Saturday to Louisville in a very competitive game. It's been a very trying year in Pittsburgh for a team that is used to playing deep into the NCAA tournament.

Ashton Gibbs, Nick Rivers and Nasir Robinson will be honored prior to the game for senior night this evening. St. John's will need to weather a furious storm early in the contest, especially considering Gibbs is the Panthers best weapon.

Moe Harkless will be the lynchpin as usual for the Johnnies. It will tough to outproduce his 22 point, nine rebound effort against the Fighting Irish over the weekend, but if he can St. John's will be sitting pretty in this Big East tilt.

Game Time: 7:00 p.m. ET

TV: ESPNU
