St. John's managed back-to-back wins for the first time since December against UCLA and DePaul in the past week. The Red Storm used 23 points from D'Angelo Harrison and 18 more from Amir Garrett to sweep the season series from DePaul with a 79-72 win Monday night.

Notre Dame is the hottest team in the Big East and one of the hottest teams in the country after rattling off nine straight victories. The Fighting Irish pounded West Virginia 71-44 at home on Wednesday behind 20 points from Jerian Grant and have not lost in more than a month.
