The St. John's Red Storm snapped their four game losing streak on Saturday with a three point victory over the UCLA Bruins. The win improved the Red Storm's record to 11-16 on the season.
St. John's enjoyed a balanced scoring attack as six of their seven players scored at least eight points and five scored in double figures. Guard, D'Angelo Harrison, led the game in scoring with 22 points on 19 shots. He also added seven rebounds and four assists. Despite shooting an abysmal 3-14 from the floor, Moe Harkless was able to affect the game in a variety of ways, scoring 10 points, grabbing 12 rebounds (6 offensive), dishing three assists, stealing the ball six times and blocking a shot.
