The Seton Hall Pirates dismantled the St. John's Red Storm, 94-64, on Tuesday night. The Pirates shot 62.5 percent from behind the 3-point arc in the win.

Even if the St. John's Red Storm had played their absolute best, it may not have been enough to take out the Seton Hall Pirates, who shot 62.3 percent from the field in a 94-64 victory Tuesday in Big East Conference basketball . The Pirates were even better from behind the 3-point arc, going 15-for-24 for a 62.5 percentage. The win moved Seton Hall back to .500 in conference play, and just behind Cincinnati for eighth place in the Big East standings.

Herb Pope (15.9 points per game) and Fuquan Edwin (13.0 ppg) combined for a relatively quiet 18 points in the blowout. Patrik Auda and Haralds Karlis had 12 and 13 points, respectively, off the bench. Neither averaged more than 6.4 points per game heading into the game, but it was that kind of night for the Pirates.

The Red Storm shot just 39.4 percent from the field, including a 4-for-15 performance from the season's leading scorer, D'Angelo Harrison. The Pirates also enjoyed a 37-25 advantage on the boards.
