St. John's-DePaul Final Score: Red Storm Fights To 87-81 Win

The St. John's Red Storm rebounded nicely Wednesday night from a weekend loss to Duke. They beat the DePaul Blue Demons in Big East Conference basketball action, splitting the logo-based underworld deities series, by a final score of 87-81.

It wasn't easy. St. John's trailed most of the night, getting a late run to save their hardwood souls.

D'Angelo Harrison led the way with 29 points, nearly double his season average of 15.8 points per game. Harrison made seven of his eleven three-point attempts. He added five rebounds and three assists.

Three other players from St. John's scored in double figures, including God'sgift Achiwa's 15-point effort.

The win moved the Red Storm to 4-6 in the Big East and 10-12 overall. Struggling against DePaul would not seem to bode well for a Saturday home game against Syracuse.
