Former Rutgers wide receiver Mohamed Sanu has been drawing late- first-round to early second-round consideration from most mock drafts, and 2012 NFL Draft analysts.
That trend continued this week when SB Nation released its latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft. SB Nation has the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Sanu going to the Baltimore Ravens with the 29th pick of the first round in the April 2012 NFL Draft.
Writing for SB Nation, Ryan Van Bibber says:
“The Ravens are committed to Joe Flacco. What better way to honor that commitment than by finding him some help at wide receiver. Sanu doesn’t have the speed of a downfield threat, but the Ravens have that in Torrey Smith. What he does do is catch the ball really well and play a tough style that allows him to get yards after the catch.”
Sanu caught 115 passes in 13 games for Rutgers during the 2011-2012 season.
