Rutgers Vs Marquette: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

Rutgers will have its hands full tonight. The Scarlet Knights will be tangling with the Golden Eagles of Marquette on Wednesday evening at the Bradley Center.

Rutgers (12-15, 4-10) is coming off their fifth consecutive loss at the hands of Syracuse over the weekend. The season started off well enough, but the wheels have totally fallen off the wagon. T

he freshmen guard duo of Myles Mack and Eli Carter were keeping this team afloat but similar to the team, have seen a drastic drop-off. Carter has only scored 15 points once in the last month, a 24-point effort against Louisville. Mack hasn't even cracked double digits since Feb. 1st.

No. 10 Marquette (22-5, 11-3) on the other hand on red-hot. The Golden Eagles have won 10 of 11 including a 79-64 hammering of UConn.

Marquette has two legitimate stars who can carry the team. Darius Johnson-Odom is one of them. The young man is averaging over 23 points per game in his last three games. Jae Crowder is really playing well also. The senior forward had a career game against the Huskies on Saturday, pouring in 29 points and 12 rebounds.

If Rutgers has any hope, it needs to contain those two. If Johnson-Odom and Crowder get going, it promises to be a long flight back to New Jersey.

Game Time: 8:00 p.m. ET

TV: ESPN3
