Carlton Agudosi Commits To Rutgers On National Signing Day 2012

Carlton Agudosi, the No. 66-rated wide receiver according to Rivals, has committed to Rutgers, sending his national letter of during Wednesday's National Signing Day 2012. Agudosi, who played at Franklin High School in Somerset, N.J., has a 6-foot-6, 200-pound frame that helped him catch 33 passes for 697 yards with nine touchdowns in his senior season.

According to the Rutgers football facebook page, Agudosi finished his high school years with school records for receiving yards (1,577) and receiving touchdowns (17). Agudosi is also the 13th-rated prospect in New Jersey according to Rivals.com.

Of course, the idea is to have Agudosi replace Mohamed Sanu, who was a First-Team All-Big East selection this season for the Scarlet Knights and is expected to be selected in the first two round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Already, Rutgers has received letters of intent from three other wide receiver -- Ian Thomas (Resiterstown, MD) and Ruhann Peele (Linden, NJ).
