NFL Draft 2012: Rutgers Scarlet Knights Will Send Four To Postseason All-Star Games

Four Rutgers Scarlet Knights football players have been chosen to participate in postseason all-star games during the month of January.

Four Rutgers Scarlet Knights football players -- defensive end Manny Abreu, defensive lineman Justin Francis, fullback Joe Martinek and offensive lineman Desmond Wynn -- have been chosen to participate in postseason all-star games during the month of January, giving the players a chance to impress evaluators as the 2012 NFL Draft approaches, the team announced on Friday.

Abreu, Francis and Martinek were selected to play in the inaugural Casino Del Sol All-Star game on Monday, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. at Kino Stadium in Tucson, Arizona. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Arizona and other Fox Sports Network affiliates.

Wynn is set to compete in the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 4 p.m. at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Wynn is the 14th Rutgers player to be selected to the game, which will be televised on the NFL Network.
