Darius Hamilton, National Signing Day 2012: Nation's No. 11 Recruit Will Announce Decision Tuesday Night

Darius Hamilton, a defensive end who is widely considered one of the nation's top high school football recruits, will announce his college decision Tuesday night at 8 p.m. The press conference will be aired live on MSG Varsity Network and can also be found streaming online at MSG Varsity's website. Hamilton is expected to choose between Rutgers and Miami.

Hamilton, who is considered the No. 2 defensive end and No. 11 recruit at any position by Rivals, was reportedly leaning toward Rutgers before head coach Greg Schiano left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But with Schiano gone, the pressure turns on newly-minted coach Kyle Flood to ink Hamilton, a New Jersey-based recruit who attended high school at New Jersey's Don Bosco Prep.

Flood's hire was seen by most New Jersey high school coaches as a positive move. But pitching Hamilton is the new Rutgers coaching regime's first real test.
