Rutgers Vs. Notre Dame Halftime Score: Scarlet Knights Up 8 Points At Intermission

After a tight first eight minutes of the game, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights gradually pulled away from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Monday night to take a 39-31 lead into halftime. Both teams shot .500 or better for half, but the Scarlet Knights made more efficient use of their possessions, committing just four turnovers to eight for the Irish.

Knotted at 18 apiece at the 11:48 mark following seven early lead changes, Mike Poole hit a triple to give the Scarlett Knights the lead. The 3-pointer was one of five for Rutgers in the half on nine attempts. Notre Dame went 5-for-12 from behind the arc.

Freshman Eli Carter leads all scorers with 10 points in the half on 4-for-8 shooting. Eric Atkins, Notre Dame's leading score on the season, already has nine points at intermission.
