Also on tap today, No. 9 UConn faces No. 16 DePaul (Noon, ESPN2), No. 10 Villanova faces No. 15 South Florida (7 p.m. ESPN2) and No. 11 Marquette faces No. 14 Providence (9 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

The Big East Tournament is the main attraction, but it is not the only thing going on around the area sports scene. Let's take a look at what else is happening.

NBA: The New York Knicks routed the Utah Jazz Monday night, 131-109.

NHL: The New Jersey Devils look to continue their amazing assault on an Eastern Conference playoff berth tonight against the Ottawa Senators. A victory tonight would put the Devils (30-31-3) at the .500 mark for the first time this season.
