Rutgers Vs. Stony Brook Final Score: Scarlet Knights Defeat Seawolves, 67-58

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights men's basketball team handled their business in their game during the 2011 Madison Square Garden Holiday Festival Tournament. They played the 3-5 – winless on the road – Stony Brook Seawolves and Rutgers won the game by a final score of 67-58 to improve to 6-5 on the season.

Leading the way for the Scarlet Knights was Myles Mack, who scored a game-high 22 points off the bench. Mack played 28 minutes, made seven of his eight shots from the field, including two threes. He was also perfect from the free throw line, hitting all six of his attempts. Mack accounted for the Scarlet Knights' only three pointers in the game, and added three steals, two rebounds and an assist.

Stony Brook accumulated a huge number of offensive rebounds, 20, and second-chance opportunities. They couldn't capitalize however; shooting an abysmal 27 percent from the field. The Seawolves had nine of their shot attempts blocked by the Scarlet Knights, five from Dane Miller alone.
