So do the TCU Horned Frogs really want to join the Big East Conference now?
Just think, Saturday night's Rose Bowl victory, 21-19, over the Wisconsin Badgers is probably the best the program will ever do -- unless a miracle happens and a playoff-like system is put in place.
The No. 3 Horned Frogs (13-0), which will join the Big East in 2012, will be one of two teams in the country that finishes the season undefeated -- No. 1 Auburn Tigers (13-0) and No. 2 Oregon Ducks (12-0) each play in the BCS National Championship game on Jan. 10.
If TCU completes that feat while playing the Big East it's "Hello, Fiesta Bowl!', instead of, playing in arguably the most historic bowl game in the country.
The move to an automatic BCS qualifier cannot be criticized. It was without a doubt the correct move. I am just saying, Horned Frog faithful take full advantage of this victory because in two seasons, you're just going to get killed for playing in the Big East and instead of playing in the Rose Bowll, you'll be headed to Glendale, AZ.
