A week ago there was hardly any change in the Coaches Poll, but after a wild weekend of upsets, there are a number of shakeups in the newest edition. The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oregon Ducks still hold the top two spots, but behind them there have been a number of changes. While they remained in second, Oregon picked up one first-place vote; Alabama got 58 first-place votes.
Rutgers continued to climb the rankings, moving up two spots to No. 19 after the Scarlet Knights moved to 5-0 with their 19-3 win over the Connecticut Huskies.
The weekend's upsets were highlighted by losses by three top-five teams, with LSU, Florida State and Georgia all losing on Saturday. Each dropped in the new poll, with LSU falling to No. 8, Florida State now at No. 11 and Georgia down to No. 12. South Carolina, West Virginia and Kansas state round out the new top five.
Complete rankings are below. Check out S.I.'s Coaches Poll Top 25 page.
