College football rankings: Rutgers ranked No. 25 in Coaches' Poll

Despite losing 35-23 to the unranked Kent St. Golden Flashes Saturday, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights remained in the top 25 of the USA Today Coaches' Poll as the voters slotted the Scarlet Knights 25th in the country on Sunday.

Rutgers dropped 10 spots from last week's No. 15 ranking.

Overall, Rutgers is one of two Big East Conference programs still ranked, as the Louisville Cardinals cracked the top 10 (No. 10) after earning a 34-31 victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Cardinals and Scarlet Knights remain unbeaten in league play.

Meanwhile, the top team in the country remains the Alabama Crimson Tide, which earned all of the 59 first-place votes. The Oregon Ducks stayed at No. 2, but both the Kansas St. Wildcats (No. 3) and Notre Dame Fighting Irish (No. 4) moved up after victories and a loss by the Florida Gators (No. 8).
