The leaderboard is absolutely packed with the names of stars at the 2012 BMW Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind., with the third round in progress.

Vijay Singh is sitting on top with a 14-under on the tournament, including a score of 1-under on Saturday through the first eight holes. Singh hasn't had a banner year in 2012 with his career starting to wind down, but he's been sensational this week.

Singh has some serious competition though with Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy tied for second place, one stroke off the pace. McIlroy has been playing lights out lately, while Mickelson has surprised many to get into the thick of things. Mickelson has made the biggest splash on moving day, shooting five-under through 12 holes.

Tiger Woods is on the other end of the spectrum. Woods has struggled all day, shooting 3-over through just eight holes. His brutal afternoon has him sitting in 17th place, five shots back.

New York native Kevin Na is also toward the back of the standings, 3-under for the tourney.

With the BMW Championship heading into the weekend, Vijay Singh currently sits atop the leaderboard at 13-under. For many fans, though, it's who's behind him that will make them pay attention this weekend - Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

Both sit at 12-under along with Ryan Moore, leaving the trio only one stroke behind Singh. Woods wrapped up Friday's round with birdies on his final two holes to keep pace with McIlroy and Moore. Bo Van Pelt is currently tied for fifth with Lee Westwood and the pair are right in the thick of things at 11-under.

Due to thunderstorms in the area this weekend, the second round was played early on Friday and play on Saturday will be pushed back. Play will take place in groups of three due to the scheduling change. NBC's coverage will kick off at noon and action on the Golf Channel will start at 3:30 p.m. Tee times and groupings can be found here.

Vijay Singh leads the 2012 BMW Championship after a second-round 66 brought him to 13-under for the weekend. Singh is one shot ahead of the second-place trio of Ryan Moore, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy.

Moore matched Singh's 66 to stay within a stroke of the leader on Friday. Moore needs a strong tournament to move into the top 30 of the FedEx Cup standings and assure himself a spot in the Tour Championship. He came into the BMW Championship in 35th, but would be projected to move into 11th with a second-place finish.

Woods and McIlroy are tied with Moore at 12-under. Woods played a clean Friday round, shooting five birdies and no bogeys, while McIlroy was all over the place. McIlroy shot six birdies, an eagle, and four bogeys to finish at 4-under for the round.

John Huh, who was born in New York City, made a big move up the leaderboard with a second-round 66. Huh now finds himself in 13th place, five shots back of the leader. If he is still there at the end of the weekend, it is projected that he would squeeze into the top 30 of the FedEx Cup standings at 29th.

Keegan Bradley, who attended school at St. John's, doesn't need quite as high a finish to get into the Tour Championship, as he entered the weekend 12th in the standings. Bradley shot a 2-under 70 on Friday and currently sits in 46th for the weekend.

The second round of the 2012 BMW Championship gets underway bright and early Friday morning in suburban Indianapolis, with a quartet of leaders at 8-under. The threat of thunderstorms in the afternoon forced the Tour to move tee times up three hours to try and squeeze in the second round. The rain has already had a profound effect on the tournament, with water dumping on the course over the weekend and dramatically softening up Pete Dye's original layout. The water on the course even forced the PGA Tour to enact lift, clean, and place on Thursday.

St. John's product Keegan Bradley is looking to cap off another successful summer with the big $10 million FedExCup prize this month. He's currently projected at 17th in the standings, with the top 30 moving on to Atlanta for the fourth and final leg. Bradley is seven shots back of the leaders, who include 2012 major winners Rory McIlroy and Keegan Bradley. Bradley's 63 last week in Boston demonstrated that he can make a one-day move up the board, and he'll need to go low on Friday to get back into the thick of things for the weekend. He'll tee off with Carl Pettersson and Bubba Watson at 8:22 a.m. ET, going off No. 10.

With all the tee times moved up to one morning session, Golf Channel's coverage from 3 p.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET will likely feature all tape-delayed action. The powerhouse group of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Nick Watney tees off No. 1 at 9:39 a.m. ET. The complete schedule of Friday's tee times:
