New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham (knee) is questionable for the team's Monday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints. That means that if you have a safer option on your Fantasy Football roster you should probably leave Manningham out of your lineup this week.

Manningham has been productive for the Giants this season, but has pretty much been surpassed as the team's No. 2 wide receiver by the electrifying Victor Cruz. Manningham, in his fourth year, has 34 receptions for the Giants in nine games, three of them for touchdowns. A season ago Manningham caught 57 passes, nine for touchdowns. His average yards per catch has dropped to 11.9 this season from a career-best of 15.7 in 2010.

If you happen to have Cruz, the fact that Manningham is questionable and the Giants are likely to be in a high-scoring shootout with the Saints Monday would make him a good play.

With LaDainian Tomlinson inactive for the Jets, NFP really likes Jets running back Shonn Greene this week against Buffalo.

Greene rolled up 76 rushing yards against Buffalo back on November 6th before exiting the game early due to injury. Not too shabby, but we’re anticipating a juicier stat line for the rematch. The Bills are reeling and have lost four of their last five outings. In addition, this defense currently ranks 20th in the NFL against the run (122.4 yds/gm) and is surrendering an average of 21.0 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season (7th-most in NFL). Backup Joe McKnight will get some touches, but we think Greene makes for a solid RB2/flex option for Week 12.

The Bills are reeling, and I can’t really disagree with that.

Ahmad Bradshaw will not play again this week, so the New York Giants running back should not be in your Week 12 Fantasy Football starting lineup. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, though, I am going to tell you the same thing about Bradshaw that I did last week -- do not cut him. Just keep him on your bench for now.

Whenever he does get clearance to return to the lineup after suffering a cracked bone in his foot, Bradshaw should resume duties as the Giants' primary running back. That clearance could come next week when the Giants face the unbeaten Green Bay Packers.

The Giants ran the ball only 17 times for a total of 29 yards last week against Philadelphia, and Brandon Jacobs (90 carries, 274 yards, a 3.0 yards per carry average) is not lighting the world on fire as Bradshaw's replacement.

When he gets back on the field, the Giants will ride him. You should, too.

Check out Gang Green Nation for more Jets analysis.

Usually I stat off this fantasy football outlook by doing something akin to a "State of the Jets"; a recap of the last game, a look ahead to the importance of the next game or the main storyline, but this week that's pretty easy. The Jets stink. At least at this very moment they do. They should beat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday because the Bills are worse. This should present the Jets an opportunity to put up some big numbers on offense, since the Bills' defense has shown an inability to stop anyone the past three weeks, including this very own Jets offense. But how can you have any confidence in the Jets' offense after what we saw last Thursday night against the Broncos. Here's my advice on who to start and sit from the Jets on your fantasy team this week, but for those you do start, temper your expectations.

Start

WR - Santonio Holmes - numberFire projection: 3.38 receptions, 47.13 yards, 0.22 TDs, 6.07 fantasy points

WR - Plaxico Burress - numberFire projection: 3.08 receptions, 39.68 yards, 0.40 TDs, 6.43 fantasy points

The Jets wide receivers are getting antsy with quarterback Mark Sanchez, that was evident last Thursday night. Because of that I expect Sanchez to try to get both guys in the end zone, and given the Bills' defensive play the last few weeks, I think its possible they both do score. But don't expect big yardage or a great number of catches, because this Jets offense (and Sanchez in particular) is still trying to figure itself out after 10 games.

Jets Defense/Special Teams - numberFire projection: 20.22 points allowed, 2.74 sacks, 2.16 turnovers, 8.95 fantasy points

The Jets bottled up the Bills in their previous meeting in Buffalo, and I would expect a similar output this weekend. The league has seemed to figure the Bills out, thanks to the Jets in some ways for painting that blueprint, and the Bills will be without running back Fred Jackson.

Sit

QB - Mark Sanchez - numberFire projection: 20.08 completions, 231.84 yards, 1.18 TDs, 1.22 INTs, 13.23 fantasy points

If you can't do better than Sanchez on your fantasy team, your team is probably in a lot of trouble. This week, I expect the Jets to play very conservatively and hope to get through a game without Sanchez turning the ball over. I don't expect big stats whatsoever.

RB - Shonn Greene - numberFire projection: 10.62 carries, 43.64 yards, 0.18 TDs, 7.34 fantasy points

It's still not entirely clear the shape Greene is in after sustaining a rib injury in the loss to the Broncos. You never have huge expectations from him anyway, and with the injury question, I don't think you can expect much. He NEVER gets in the end zone either, so you can't even count on him to punch in a few short scores.

TE - Dustin Keller - numberFire projection: 3.56 receptions, 41.31 yards, 0.34 TDs, 6.19 fantasy points

I'd sit Keller until he proves he has a pulse.

Let’s take a look at New York Giants or New York Jets who might be available on the Fantasy Football waiver wire for Week 12 of the NFL season.

SB Nation’s Fake Teams recommends that you snag Jets running back/return specialist Joe McKnight if he isn’t already owned in your league — which Fake Teams thinks he should be.

Fake Teams says "Shonn Greene has done absolutely nothing to conclusively say the job is his and there’s a good chance that this becomes a 50-50 split. "

As for the Giants, Yahoo! Sports puts rookie running back Da’Rel Scott into its questionable category.

It looks like Ahmad Bradshaw (cracked bone in his foot) may miss another game, and D.J. Ware (concussion) is also highy unlikely to play, leaving just Brandon Jacobs and Scott to carry the ball for the Giants. Scott has also been returning kickoffs for the Giants the past couple of weeks, so if you are desperately in need of a running back this might be a good week for a flier on Scott.

-- Fantasy Football Start/Sit advice and projections for the New York Giants

Here is this week's Fantasy Football Start 'Em/Sit 'em advice when it comes to New York Giants players on your Fantasy roster, or players you might be considering picking up. As always, projections from numberFire will help our analysis.

START

Eli Manning (QB)
numberFire Projection: 20.80 completions, 245.97 yards, 1.80 TDs, 1.00 INTs, 16.06 Fantasy Points

Analysis: As I always say, play the man. His projections for this week make him the third-ranked QB in the league for fantasy puposes. That aside, the Giants cannot run the ball, Manning has been terrific and if he is given time by the awful Giants' offensive line he will put up numbers. He always does.

Hakeem Nicks (WR)
numberFire Projection: 4.24 receptions, 64.95 yards, 0.50 TDs, 9.76 Fantasy Points

Analysis: One of the game's best receivers. Did not have a great game against Philadelphia, but expect a big week this time around.

Victor Cruz (WR)
numberFire Projection: 4.14 receptions, 60.26 yards, 0.37 TDs, 8.27 Fantasy Points

Analysis: Cruz has been catching about a half-dozen passes every week, many for huge chunks of yardage. No reason to think that won't continue.

Mario Manningham (WR)
numberFire Projection: 4.32 receptions, 49.06 yards, 0.28 TDs, 6.65 Fantasy Points

Analysis: He has become the third wheel in the passing attack behind Nicks and Cruz, but he's a darn good third wheel. There are plenty of completions and big plays to go around.

Jake Ballard (TE)
numberFire Projection: 2.25 receptions, 26.42 yards, 0.20 TDs, 3.82 Fantasy Points

Analysis: The projection is not great, but Ballard has been better than that. Dropped three balls against Philadelphia last week, but he has been good enough all season to justify a spot in your lineup unless you have a big-time tight end on your roster.

Lawrence Tynes (PK)
numberFire Projection: 1.50 field goals, 3.00 extra points, 8.10 Fantasy Points

Analysis: Tynes has been fine this season, he will be kicking indoors Monday night and the Giants should be able to put up some points.

SIT

Brandon Jacobs (RB)
numberFire Projection: 7.06 carries, 27.72 yards, 0.19 TDs, 1.28 receptions, 8.91 yards, 4.92 Fantasy Points

Analysis: Jacobs had a couple of decent weeks filling in for Ahmad Bradshaw, but last Sunday the Giants gained only 29 yards rushing on 17 attempts. They can't block for the run, and Jacobs can't make anybody miss.

Ahmad Bradshaw (RB)
numberFire Projection: 11.30 carries, 47.64 yards, 0.36 TDs, 2.74 receptions, 22.01 yards, 9.88 Fantasy Points

Analysis: It sounds like the cracked bone in his foot might keep out again. Plus, the Giants can't block for the run to begin with.

Giants Defense
8.16 Fantasy Points projected by numberFire

Analysis: Are you kidding me? The Giants have not been able to slow down Alex Smith or Vince Young, and this Monday they face Drew Brees. Don't go near this defense.
