SB Nation's Bill Connelly has released his latest bowl projections, and for the New York local teams, not much has changed. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights beat Army at Yankee Stadium on Saturday and are again penciled in for a return visit at the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, where Connelly predicts they will take on Texas Tech.

Syracuse fell to South Florida on Friday, and Connelly doesn't think the Orange will get the win they need to become eligible in its final two games of the season against Cincinnati or Pittsburgh.

Connelly projects Cincinnati to ultimately claim the Big East crown and meet Clemson in the Discover Orange Bowl. He also sees Louisville, South Florida and Pittsburgh making it to the postseason. Louisville is forecasted to play N.C. State in the BBVA Compass Bowl, South Florida to go to the Independence Bowl to take on Wyoming and Pittsburgh to meet East Carolina in the Beef O'Brady's Bowl.

Connelly's BCS picks are as follows:

BCS National Championship Game (1/9/2012): LSU vs. Oklahoma State

Rose Bowl (1/2/2012): Oregon vs. Wisconsin

Tostitos Fiesta Bowl (1/2/2012): Oklahoma vs. Houston

Allstate Sugar Bowl (1/3/2012): Alabama vs. Stanford

Discover Orange Bowl (1/4/2012): Clemson vs. Cincinnati

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights changed quarterbacks for the second time this season. It worked today, as they defeated Navy by 15 in Yankees Stadium, keeping hopes for a Big East title alive.

In a non-conference game played at Yankees Stadium on Veteran's Day weekend The Rutgers Scarlet Knights defeated the Army Black Knights, 27-12.

Quarterback Chas Dodd came off the bench last week and rallied the Scarlet Knights to a comeback overtime victory over South Florida. It was his first game action since being benched following week 4. The comeback victory earned Dodd the start this week and he finished 17-of-27 for 196 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Receiver Mohamed Sanu had another monster game, catching 13 passes for 129 yards.

The Scarlet Knights survived multiple mistakes en route to the 15-point victory. The had two turnovers, missed a field goal and an extra point. The game wasn't as much of a blowout as the final score indicates. It was 13-12 late in the fourth until a late special teams touchdown helped ice the game, followed by a 56-yard scamper by Jawan Jamison in the midst of Rutgers attempt to work the clock.

The win improves Rutgers record to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in the Big East, keeping hope alive for the Big East title. The Scarlet Knights host the 23rd ranked Cincinnati Bearcats next week and finish the season at UConn. Big East leader West Virginia hosts Pittsburgh in two weeks and finishes the season at South Florida.

The Rutgers University football program will see a change at starting quarterback, again, this Saturday as the Scarlet Knights face Army in a non-conference game at Yankee Stadium (3:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network). Sophomore Chad Dodd, who five weeks ago lost his starting job to true freshman Gary Nova, was rewarded Monday with his fifth start of the season after last Sasturday helping Rutgers overcome a 17-3, fourth-quarter deficit to beat the University of South Florida, 20-17, in overtime.

"We just feel as a staff that that gives us the best chance to win on Saturday," said Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano during his weekly Monday teleconference. "Gary will be ready to go."

Of course, Schiano says that Dodd gives the Scarlet Knights (6-3, 3-2 Big east Conference) the best chance to beat the Black Knights (3-6), but that is what he said about Nova a few weeks earlier.

The truth is, when Rutgers is trailing midway through the third quarter against a 3-6 program or next week against the University of Cincinnati, Schiano will have no problem asking Nova to help kick start the RU offense. Currently, Schiano and the Scarlet Knights are playing for their Big East-title lives and if switching quarterbacks on a week-by-week, quarter-by-quarter or play-by-play bases is the way to keep it surviving, its seems as if they have no problem doing that.

Only in the Big East, a league with a lot of below average football programs, does a strategy like this work. Currently, Rutgers has the third-best pass offense in the league (235.89 yards per game), but nationally is ranked 58th in the nation. The Scarlet Knights rushing attack, which averages 87.3-rushing yards per game and is ranked 117th out of 120 Football Bowl Subdivision programs, is even more putrid. However, somehow, Rutgers is near the top of the league standings and if it wins out and gets a little help, it could win the BCS bowl berth.

Dodd or Nova? For Rutgers, the question doesn't matter. All that does is a "W".

In the heat of conference play, the Rutgers University football program will take a weekend to play a special non-conference game Saturday afternoon against Army at Yankee Stadium (3:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network). The contests, which comes during Veterans Day weekend, will be the last non-conference match up for the Scarlet Knights (6-3, 3-2 Big East Conference) and their first visit to Yankee Stadium since 1948.

"It's going to be a great atmosphere," said Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano. " When we decided that we were going to play this game at Yankee Stadium, as a kid growing up, I'm very excited. I was a Yankee fan in Yankee Stadium and all the things that go with it, and now to be playing a traditional team like Army and playing them at Yankee Stadium is something that is exciting for me and for our football team."

Last week, Rutgers overcame a 17-3 to defeat the University of South Florida, 20-13, in overtime to become bowl eligible for the sixth time in seven seasons and stay in the Big East title race.

Sophomore quarterback Chas Dodd came off the bench to help kick start the comeback. Dodd, who hadn't played significant playing minutes since Week 4, completed 11-of-17 passes for 125 yards with one touchdown. The performance helped Dodd earn his fourth start of the season Saturday.

Another surprise this weekend will feature the Scarlet Knights helmets.

The freshman initially sustained the injury this past Saturday in Rutgers' win over South Florida and could possibly be available to play in a bowl game now that the 6-3 Scarlet Knights are eligible for the postseason.
