The New York Giants and New York Jets moved up this week in the SB Nation NFL Week 8 Power Rankings.

NFL Week 8 Power Rankings are out, and they are good news for both the New York Giants and New York Jets. Each team moved up this week in rankings released Tuesday morning by SB Nation.

The Jets have bounced back from a three game skid with two wins in a row. The Jets were able to make a second half comeback against the San Diego Chargers eventually winning 27-21. The win Chargers were 4-1 entering the game and the top team in the AFC West. Mark Sanchez and Plaxico Burress connected on three occasions while Nick Folk added two field goals. The win moved the Jets up from the 18th spot to 13th.

The Giants were one of two NFC East teams on a bye this past week. They're currently on top of the division with a 4-2 record and make their return against the 0-6 Miami Dolphins. The Giants jumped up a spot due to the Bucs dropping their game to the Chicago Bears. They have a tough upcoming schedule which very well could decide their season.
