We have already looked at the 3 Good Stats from the Nets 93-91 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and now we turn to the negative.

Here are the 3 bad stats from New Jersey's fifth straight loss.

1. 52-15 Bench Scoring

The one thing that is supposed to be better for the Nets this year is the depth. Well, once Terrence Williams went down with an abdominal injury, it was clear that there isn't much in the way of scoring options beyond the starting five.

Without the do-it-all Williams, the Nets bench was completely outmatched by Cleveland's second unit. To be fair, the Cavs bench is averaging more than 42.6 points per game, among the best in the league, while the Nets -- with or without their 6th man -- are still learning how to play together.

2. 52.9% 3-Point Shooting

This is where the Cavalier bench excelled against the Nets. Antawn Jamison and Daniel Gibson combined to shoot 7-for-9 from three as they were able to stop New Jersey from ever turning the corner when it came to momentum.

As Avery Johnson will be able to show his team on the tape, they were rotating to the wrong player throughout the game. There is no excuse for leaving a guy like Gibson wide open on the perimeter, yet that's what continued to happen Tuesday night.

3. 30% 3-Point Shooting

A strength for Cleveland was a clear weakness for New Jersey. Besides Travis Outlaw's 4-for-7, the Nets shot 2-for-13 from long range. Brook Lopez is struggling right now, but he is going to continue drawing double teams and the Nets shooters need to make teams pay for that. Outlaw and Anthony Morrow cannot be the only people capable of hitting consistently from three.

This is where Murphy should eventually be able to contribute along with backup point guard Jordan Farmar.

After every Nets game this season, we will have 3 good and bad stats that jump off of the box score. We'll bring you the bad a little later, but first here are the 3 good stats from the Nets 93-91 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

1. 27 Points, 11 for 22 Shooting, 7 Rebounds

A quick look at Travis Outlaw's first seven games with the Nets will give you a good idea of what is ailing the team. He has averaged 20.6 points in three games but just 4 in the other four games. Outlaw's up-and-down season fits in well with a team wide problem.

The forward certainly brought his "A" game to Newark on on a night the Nets found themselves searching for offense. While as a unit they looked lost in their half-court sets, Outlaw was able to score both inside and out. If he can stay on this side of the line, the Nets will be in good shape when Brook Lopez comes back around.

2. 11 Rebounds In 25 Minutes

Troy Murphy missed preseason and the first game of the season with a back injury and has been working himself back into shape and was able to get after the ball in limited minutes against the Cavs. Thanks to Murphy's 11 rebounds, the Nets owned the rebounding advantage for only the second time during their five game losing streak.

With rookie Derrick Favors already averaging 7.3 rebounds per game, New Jersey has the potential to eventually be a force on the glass.

3. 2 Missed Free Throws

When you are struggling to find your identity on offense the way the Nets are right now, you cannot afford to leave points on the free throw line.

New Jersey barely shot above 40% from the floor, yet they were there at the end of the game in large part due to their 7 point advantage at the charity strip.

The New Jersey Nets dropped their fifth straight on Tuesday night 93-91 to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first game of a home-and-home.

J.J. Hickson had a team-high 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Cavs who are currently sitting atop the Central division. Cleveland got a boost from its bench, headlined by Ramon Sessions 15 points and Daniel Gibson's 14.

The Nets were led by Travis Outlaw's best game of the young season. The forward had 27 points on 11-for-22 shooting, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc. Point guard Devin Harris was plagued by early foul trouble but was still able to add 18 points and 6 assists. Brook Lopez carried his struggles from the Nets road trip to Florida back with him to Newark. The center had 16 points, but only shot 6-for-18 from the field.

Cleveland held just a one point lead with less than three minutes remaining before hitting on back-to-back baskets from three to put the game away.

New Jersey has now lost nine in a row to the Cavaliers, but will get another shot at them Wednesday night in Cleveland.

The New Jersey Nets (2-4) will try to put an end to their four-game losing streak Tuesday night in Newark when they begin a home-and-home with the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers (3-3) in Newark.

Avery Johnson and the Nets are still licking their wounds from a 101-89 loss to the Miami Heat that wasn't nearly as close as the final score would indicate.

Meanwhile, the LeBron-less Cavs are riding high after a weekend of road victories over the Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards. In the win over the Wizards, guards Mo Williams and Daniel Gibson combined for 47 points and will be a handful for a New Jersey backcourt that may be without the ailing Terrence Williams (abdominal strain).

Nets center Brook Lopez is hoping to bounce back from a weekend in which he only averaged 11 points and 4 rebounds while shooting .242 from the field. Lopez will be matched up with the ball of energy known as Anderson Varejao (9.8 ppg, 10.8 rpg) and the emerging J.J. Hickson (16.5 ppg, .507 FG%).

Like most teams, Cleveland swept the season series with New Jersey last year and has won eight straight over the Nets.
