2012 MLB Futures Game: Rosters, TV Schedule, Start Time And More

The 2012 MLB All-Star Weekend officially begins Sunday, as the MLB Futures Game (5 p.m. ET on ESPN2 or MLB.TV) will be played in Kansas City at Kauffman Stadium. The exhibition contest will showcase the MLB's top young talents, including New York Mets' prospect Wilmer Flores, who will start at third base and bat sixth for the World Team.

Flores will be playing against current and possible future Mets' teammate, pitcher Zach Wheeler who will not start but could pitch for Team USA. Both prospects are currently playing with the Binghamton Mets (Double-A).

Meanwhile, the lone representative for the New York Yankee will be outfielder Tyler Austin, who will not start for Team USA. Currently, Austin is playing in Single-A Tampa.
