Russell Martin returns to the lineup while Alex Rodriguez sits for the second half of Saturday's doubleheader between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Rodriguez went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts in the Yankees' 6-1 win in the afternoon. Martin is looking to bust out of an 0-for-30 slump.
On the mound, Phil Hughes will take on Felix Doubront of the Red Sox. Hughes went eight innings in his last outing, giving up just two earned runs and striking out eight in a 4-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on July 1.
