The New York Yankees will attempt to snap their mini two-game losing streak when the Baltimore Orioles come to town on Monday night.

After winning the first game against the Boston Red Sox, the Yankees fell short in the final two. Now, they'll look to rebound against a Baltimore team in the middle of the Wild Card race, that's coming off of a series loss at home to the Oakland Athletics.

Freddy Garcia will take the mound for New York tonight. The veteran has been up-and-down this year with a 4-4 mark to accompany a 5.18 ERA. In his last start, Garcia took the loss against the Seattle Mariners when he allowed three earned runs in 7.1 innings.

Opposing Garcia for the Orioles will be Miguel Gonzalez. The 28-year-old Mexican has pitched in seven games this year and only started four. So far, he has a 2-2 record with an ERA of 4.28. Gonzalez had a disastrous last outing when he was shelling by the Tampa Bay Rays, surrendering seven earned runs in just 2.2 innings of work.

Curtis Granderson could be a player to watch on Monday night. He's already hit four home runs off of Baltimore this season.
