Yankees (58-39) At Mariners (43-56) Previews: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

The New York Yankees will try to win the series against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday afternoon at Safeco Field with Ivan Nova on the mound.

The Yankees have had quite an eventful time in the Emerald City, starting with the addition of ichiro Suzuki and continuing on Tuesday night with Alex Rodriguez breaking his hand on a Felix Hernandez fastball.

As for Nova, he'll be in search of his 11th win of 2012. The second year pitcher has been solid thus far, with a 10-4 record and a 4.10 ERA. In his last start, Nova received a no-decision against the Oakland Athletics when he went 6.2 innings, allowing two runs on nine hits.

Hisashi Iwakuma will toe the rubber for the Mariners. The Japanese import is 1-2 with a somewhat bloated ERA of 4.86. The 31-year-old rookie has only recently become a starter after coming out of the bullpen for most of the year. Iwakuma pitched well in his last appearance, giving up only two runs in six innings while striking out seven against the Tampa Bay Rays.

New York will be seeking it's second win on the West Coast, attempting to end the trip with a 2-5 mark.
