The New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers meet Saturday night for the second leg of their three-game weekend series. (Game Time: 7:15 p.m. ET, TV Schedule: Fox)
The Yankees are hoping for Curtis Granderson to stay hot. The center fielder has homered in three of his last four games to reach 17 for the season, tied for second place in the MLB behind Josh Hamilton. He has especially victimized Detroit, hitting 6-for-16 this season with three home runs and eight RBI against his former team.
The probable starters are Hiroki Kuroda for the Yankees and Rick Porcello for the Tigers.
