Yankees At Athletics Final Score: Teixeiria Homers Twice, Yanks Win 9-2

The New York Yankees extended their current winning streak to four games on Saturday, which includes back-to-back wins over the Oakland A's. Saturday's final was 9-2.

C.C. Sabathia started the game for the Yankees; he went seven solid innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, while fanning four. The big star of the game was first baseman, Mark Teixeira, who went deep twice and drove in five of the Yankees nine runs.

Saturday marks the second straight game Teixeria has homered, as he did so in the first game of the series with the A's, on Friday.

The Yanks will look to complete the sweep of the A's on Sunday, when Hiroki Kuroda is scheduled to face Tommy Milone
