Yankees (10-7) At Rangers (14-4) Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers

Wednesday night will be the rubber game of the three-game set between the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees.

The Bronx Bombers will start Phil Hughes who has had a brutal start to the 2012 campaign.

On a good note, the best game he's pitched this season was his last outing against the hapless Minnesota Twins. Hughes was able to last five and two third innings, only surrendering two earned runs in a win.

The 240-pound hurler will be trying to lower his 6.75 ERA against perhaps the best lineup in baseball.

Texas will hand the ball to Scott Feldman who is making his first start of the season. The veteran Hawaiian native has made two relief appearances this year and is yet to allow a run.

Of course, the story in Arlington is always the hitting which once again is tremendous. Josh Hamilton already has eight home runs while batting .400.

The Yankees are no slouches themselves, being led by Nick Swisher's league-leading 21 RBI and Curtis Granderson's six long balls, only second to Hamilton in the American League. Derek Jeter is also on fire, hitting .416 thus far.

TV: YES

Time: 8:05 p.m. ET
