Madonna Performing Show At Yankee Stadium

From the Super Bowl to Yankee Stadium, Madonna is making her presence known in the New York sports world.

After setting a viewership record with her halftime show during Sunday's Super Bowl, the seven-time Grammy Award winner will hold a concert at Yankees Stadium on Sept. 6, the Yankees announced on Monday.

Yankees full- and partial-season ticket licensees, Yankees Universe members, Yankees Group Leaders and Yankees.com subscribers will have the first dibs at tickets during a pre-sale held at Yankees.com/madonna, before tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m.

Yankee Stadium first hosted a concert in September of 2010, when Jay-Z and Eminem collaborated as part of their home-and-home tour, during which the duo performed twice in Jay-Z's hometown of New York and twice in Eminem's hometown of Detroit. The Stadium has also held concerts by Paul McCartney, and a concert consisting of metal groups Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.
