The New York Yankees finally know who they will be playing in the American League Division Series. The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Texas Rangers, 5-1, Friday night in the AL wild-card playoff game so the Yankees will head to Camden Yards to begin the best-of-five ALDS Sunday evening.
The Yankees will send ace CC Sabathia (15-6, 3.38 ERA) to the mound Sunday. Sabathia was on the disabled list twice this season, but pitched eight innings in each of his last three starts, giving up just four earned runs in 24 innings. The Orioles' starter has yet to be announced.
Game 1 is scheduled to be played Sunday at 6:15 p.m. ET. The teams will play back-to-back, with game 2 being scheduled for Monday, Oct 8 at 8:07 pm ET. TBS will provide television coverage for both games and ESPN will have live radio coverage of all 2012 postseason games.
