Yankees vs. Tigers, 2012 ALCS Game 4: Game time, TV schedule, starting pitchers and more

The Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees will play Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Thursday afternoon after having it rained out on Wednesday.

New York is trying to keep its season alive with CC Sabathia on the mound for the first time since Game 5 of the ALDS against the Baltimore Orioles. Sabathia has had a history of coming up large in pressure spots for the Bronx Bombers, and will need to call on that ability again with his team's back against the wall.

In the regular season, Sabathia pitched against the Tigers three times, resulting in a three quality starts and a 3-0 record.

It will be interesting to see if manager Joe Girardi sticks to his lineup from Wednesday with Alex Rodriguez and Curtis Granderson on the bench.

Max Scherzer will be on the hill for Detroit, also for the first time in the ALCS. Scherzer has been terrific in 2012, striking out more batters than anyone else in the American League except for his teammate, Justin Verlander.
