Garcia suffered his first loss of the season on Friday against Toronto, as he allowed three runs and seven hits in five innings, dropping him to 1-1 to go along with a 2.00 ERA.
Detroit snapped a seven-game losing streak with Tuesday's 4-2 victory over the Yankees. Max Scherzer, 4-0 with a 3.82 ERA, pitches Wednesday night for Detroit.
